Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for college students to gain hands-on experience in the engineering field. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and contribute to various design, test and sustaining projects.
Responsibilities:
- Sustain Existing Products: Assist in maintaining and improving current products by troubleshooting issues, testing alternative designs and implementing enhancements.
- Test and Validate Product Designs: Perform various electrical and environmental tests to validate design concepts and verify product performance and reliability.
- New Product Design Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with the design team to develop new products, providing valuable input and feedback.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and Altium) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- Basic understanding of quality control processes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills.
