Dycom Industries, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Employee Relations Analyst

Overview

Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you will work with our HR leaders, management team, legal partners and employees to identify and resolve various employee matters.You will provide consultation, guidance, and coaching to HR leaders on addressing matters, and assist with the development of feedback/recommendations for corrective actions. As a member of the HR Team, you will participate in projects and programs in the development of a people-oriented company culture including promoting awareness of our company’s Code of Conduct and other policies.

What you’ll do… 

  • You will assist in providing advice and counsel to HR Business Partners and managers on employment matters.
  • You will assist in conducting workplace investigations and supporting HR Business Partners and leaders with employee relations matters.
  • You will analyze New Hire and Exit Interview responses to identify trends and work with HR leaders to track and resolve issues.
  • You will analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to compliance with employment laws and regulations, employee satisfaction, motivation, and turnover.
  • You will make recommendations for policies and activities, based on metrics and analysis, to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to motivate and retain employees and to maintain legal compliance.
  • You will book meetings, coordinating calls, and maintain the HR Resource site. 
  • You will maintain working knowledge of changing employment laws and regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for…

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
  • You have a minimum of 3 years in Human Resources including experience handling employee relations 
  • You have experience conducting and documenting investigations 
  • You have written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence others and distill information into key messages
  • You have sound judgment and discretion in the handling of sensitive and confidential information
  • You have working knowledge of employment laws (wage and hour rules, anti discrimination and harassment, how to address employee concerns, complaints, and investigations, terminating lawfully, etc.)
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • You have the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
  • You are a team player and self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
