Dykema's Data Privacy and Cybersecurity team is seeking an associate with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Chicago is the preferred office location, but we will also consider candidates for our Detroit and Dallas offices. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of incident response, compliance counseling, risk management, privacy litigation, and familiarity with federal and state privacy and data protection laws, including HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, FCRA, CFBA, and BIPA. Preference will be given to candidates with a CIPP/US certification; if not already certified, obtaining the certification within one year of hire will be required. Admission to the IL bar is required. Hybrid schedule with in office expectations weekly. Salary range: $170,000-$175,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience level.
