Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC, a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients. We are is seeking a full-time Database Administrator to support DoD customer out of the DMV. This is an exempt remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Performs all functional duties identified independently
- Design, create, and maintain databases in a client/server environment
- Operate desktop database tools, scripts or queries to process and validate extracted data
- Expert experience with Oracle 19c
- Perform AWS Redshift Data Warehouse and Oracle RDS DB administration
- Diagnose and resolve production data load issues in a large-scale AWS data warehouse
- Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems
- Establish and maintain data load and validation procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of data by the daily "data available" deadlines in a AWS Data Warehouse
- Coordinate changes to computer databases.
- Populate assigned databases with validated records from structured/semi-structured flat files/extracts and source databases
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
- Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or closely related field
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in database administration
- Must meet specific certification and training requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M, DoDD 8570.1 (Certified within 6 months of assignment)
Experience and Skills:
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties
- Experience with data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives.
- Experience applying Structured Query Language (SQL), Non-Structured Query Language (NoSQL)
- Experienced with MSSQL, MySQL, Mongo, PostGRES, and Oracle Solutions Experience applying complex mathematical and statistical concepts
