Job Description:
Role: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time

They maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.
Objectives of this role
· Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and distributors
· Work strategically to secure materials through contracts, forecasting, and negotiating
· Ensure customer satisfaction through scheduling and on-time production
· Maintain inventory appropriate with open customer POs while minimizing loss
· Continuously improve department processes and procedures to eliminate inefficiencies and errors
· Effectively lead the Supply Chain department through regular communication, meetings, process review
Responsibilities
· Process and confirm customer purchase orders
· Manage production calendar and write production schedule
· Forecast materials needs with or without customer provided data
· Procure ingredients and packaging by placing purchase orders, accounting for FIFO inventory methods and just-in-time logistics
· Consolidate raw material purchases and shipments where possible
· Oversee inventory valuation and perform monthly inventory adjustments
· Maintain and build strong vendor relationships
· Negotiate raw material prices and maintain necessary raw material contracts
· Consider opportunities for profit in raw material procurement and sales
· Work with accounting department to prioritize vendor payments based on production scheduling
· Oversee inbound raw material shipments and outbound finished goods shipments and initiate both as necessary
· Monitor obsolete inventory and surplus inventory
· Negotiate and facilitate surplus and ad hoc raw material sales
· Create outbound shipment summaries for accounting to bill from
· Review and initiate billing activities for raw material storage, sample shipments, and other parcel shipments
· Lead costing exercises for current and potential customers
· Oversee Supply Chain Assistant and their duties (including but not limited to order monitoring, inbound and outbound shipping, logistics, and inventory management)
· Prioritize department needs and delegate or reassign tasks as necessary while effectively utilizing direct reports

Pay: $26.44 - $40.00 per hour
