Minimum of 5 years’ experience on manual machines. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently to complete required tasks of each project. Be a good steward with shop resources. Protect and secure customer resources. Must be dependable with strong work ethic.
Operate engine lathes, milling machines, cut-off saws, surface grinder and other manual
Machines. Read/understand/interpret blueprints and shop drawings, responsible from blueprint to finished product. Inspect part through precision measuring and document all, troubleshoot, machine set up, refine until finished product meets customer specs.
Mandatory use of in-house computer system to track work hours and jobs
Must follow all safety requirements/standards. Ability to obtain forklift certification. Must be able to change jobs during the workday as the need arises and directed by management. Requires lifting of 50 lbs. Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes. Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness.
