E-PLEX is an education complex with multiple different facilities. Our Diamond Bar branch includes afterschool, academy, art, music, science, and college counseling. Currently, we are looking for afterschool Teachers and/or Teacher Assistants who would like to work with students in K-5th grade classrooms from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Assist the teacher on helping students with their school homework
• Assist the teacher to supervise students for their safety
• Assist the teacher to grade students' homework and Math/English packets
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT/ QUALIFICATION

• Must have an Associate's degree or higher
• 1 year experience working in kindergarten - 5th grade classroom setting
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 3:30 - 6:30pm
• Able to supervise and instruct up to 15 students per classroom
• Able to function basic office machinery such as, printer, desktop, laptop and copy machine without assistance
• Must be fluent or native speaker in English
• Able to supervise and implement E-PLEX programs with the philosophy of the educational system
• Able to maintain a positive environment while working with students and parents
• Able to attend meetings and training
• Able to follow guidelines and safety regulations for E-PLEX policies
• Able to perform duties as assigned
• Able to commute to Diamond Bar

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
