Job Title: Software Engineer (SE-NB)
Location: Rollingwood, TX
Job Duties: Contribute to the entire Software Development Life Cycle through planning, implementation, development, testing, and review to ensure high-quality outcomes. Work with engineers and product managers to create and manage services for the company. Build scalable microservices and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) incorporating the use of high-level web-centric languages, as well as low-level firmware and services. Deliver front-end solutions utilizing various frameworks. Identify software problems or deviations from requirements and user needs to determine appropriate software processes and develop software to acceptable quality standards in an agile development environment. Architect and implement systems for efficient asset movement across storage systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Be an integral part of the agile software development workflow and an advocate for code quality and performance metrics within engineering teams, providing feedback to teammates as appropriate, and facilitating requirements review and peer review sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance front-end and back-end systems both customer-facing and internal. Architect and implement solutions and frameworks for complex front-end and back-end systems, utilizing development tools. Design and enhance internal tools, applications in a CI/CD environment, and data management. Develop internal services to streamline configuration management and CI/CD pipeline updates. Build, implement, optimize, and maintain applications in a CI/CD pipeline environment. Plan, develop, execute, monitor, and improve CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to the entire Software Development Life Cycle through planning, implementation, development, testing, and review to ensure high-quality outcomes. Telecommuting permitted within area of intended employment.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related plus two years of related experience.
