Requirements for VT
Teacher Assistant-18 yrs old, HS diploma or equivalent, and either a Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level 1 or 2 certificate or a current CDA and 12 months ECE experience
Teacher Associate- 20 yrs old, HS diploma or equivalent, and either a Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level 3 Certificate or a relevant associate's degree
Teacher-20 yrs old, HS diploma or equivalent, and either Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level 4 or B Certificate or a relevant bachelor's degree
Program Director- 21 yrs old, a teacher associate with a Vermont Early Childhood & Afterschool Program Director Step 1 Certificate or a teacher associate with successful completion of a three 3 college credit course in program management for early care and education or for school age care and education, or in staff supervision related to early care and education of children and a 3 college credit course in curriculum.
Responsibilities
Directors: All employees report to the director. The director makes all of the decisions for the center. They are responsible for hiring, disciplinary action, center programming, scheduling, purchasing, staff files, and more. Directors often act as a mentor to staff and will assist with behavior management with students and staff relations.
Lead/Teacher: Lead Teachers make decisions within their classroom with guidance from the director. Their responsibilities include lesson planning, providing developmentally appropriate care and education, observation and assessments, and overseeing safety, conduct, and cleanliness in their classroom.
Associate & Assistant Teacher: Associate and Assistant Teachers are responsible for providing developmentally appropriate care and education with guidance from the director and lead teacher. They are also responsible for providing support to the Lead Teacher by helping with tasks such as meal times, classroom preparations, toileting, supervision, cleaning, and sanitizing.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
