Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages. This role requires a compassionate individual who is passionate about childhood development and can effectively manage the needs of infants, toddlers, and older children.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide nurturing care including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants and toddlers and school age children
- Assist with behavior management to encourage positive interactions among children.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area to promote a healthy environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Educate children through play- based learning techniques
- that foster curiosity and creativity.
Skills
- Proficient in First Aid and CPR techniques to ensure child safety.
- Experience in nannying or childcare settings with a focus on caregiving for infants and toddlers.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles to support educational growth.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively, promoting positive social interactions among children.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with both children and parents effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children of all ages.
