Associate Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities for children
- Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special education needs
- Implement classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of classroom materials and resources
Skills:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents/guardians, colleagues, and other professionals
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment
- Proficiency in math concepts to support children's learning in numeracy skills
- Understanding of child welfare and the ability to ensure the safety and well-being of each child
- Familiarity with physical education activities suitable for young children
