Duties
- Perform grooming services for a variety of pets, including dogs and cats, according to breed standards and client preferences.
- Provide bathing, trimming, styling, and nail trimming services with precision and care.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process, including handling and restraint techniques.
- Communicate effectively with pet parents to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming equipment, workstations, and salon environment.
- Adhere to salon policies and procedures, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a professional pet groomer, with a strong portfolio of grooming work.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for pets and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet parents and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours based on appointment volume and salon needs.
Pay
- Commission-based pay structure, with the percentage based on experience.
- Part-time to full-time pay can range from $10,000 per year to $80,000 per year, depending on hours and appointments.
