Waiter/Waitress

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, groomed, and provide great customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. Must provide own transportation, be dependable and on time.

Duties

• Greet members and guests and take orders for food and beverages.
• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately to process transactions.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety and handling guidelines.
• Engage with guests, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their orders.
• Adhere to all local laws and regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
• Close out tickets at end of shift.

Qualifications

• Previous waiter/waitress experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to handle food safely.
• Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems for order processing.
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with state regulations and must obtain an ABO card once hired.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
