Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Fox Chapel
- Start Date: April 1, 2023
- Hours: 45 Hours Guaranteed | 8 am - 6 pm with flexibility for an occasional later start and later end time. The family would love a candidate open to occasional weekend or date night hours.
- Hourly Rate: $26 - 30/hour overtime pay for any hours above 40
- Children: 4YO, 2 YO, and a baby due in June
- Pets: 1 friendly and calm golden retriever
- Flu & COVID Shot Preferred; open to natural antibodies
- Paid Vacation: 1 week of family's choice, one week of nanny's choice, three sick or personal days, and all major holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Bustling with fun and so much love, this incredible close-knit family of (almost) five is looking for a loving and playful nanny to join their beautiful bunch! Mom works from home and enjoys establishing a working relationship with the nanny. While the oldest two will be in school part-time, the nanny will primarily care for the sweet baby, joining in June! This family thrives on a gentle rhythm to their day; the nanny is encouraged to explore the outdoors. They offer a nanny vehicle for exciting adventures about town. Imagine trips to the zoo, museums, parks, libraries, swimming, dance, and summer camp to name a few. They need a nanny who will follow the schedule, maintain organization, and keep everyone marching to their own drums. This family anticipates a nanny joining them as part of their team, blending in smoothly to help nurture and guide their precious three while helping with the children’s laundry, vacuuming/sweeping, light meal prep, and tidying up.
The Ideal Nanny Would Be...Flexible, nurturing, and patient, you are confident and gentle. You’ve had previous experience with multiple kids and can handle everyone’s schedules with calm. You are an intuitive and reliable teammate. You can keep a baby calm and cozy while leaning into that imaginative play of a precious four and 2-year-old. Those precious postpartum days and months require extra care and attention, and you will expertly create ways to demonstrate love and attention to the other two children as they welcome their third sibling to the world! You are a natural when it comes to connecting with children. You’ll be prepped for when the older two siblings arrive home from their school days with fun activities, planned adventures, and exciting outings! You are looking for a fantastic family to join for years to come, becoming a cherished part of their rhythm while adding your own expertise and joy to their lives!

Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record
Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
