Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Sewickley
- Start Date: Around mid-May for 6-8 weeks
- Hours: 11 pm - 7 am; 5 overnights a week
- Child: Newborn
- Pets: Two Dogs
- Hourly Rate: $28-32/hour, $35-45/hour with Newborn Care Specialist Certification
- Covid, Flu, and TDap Vaccines Required
Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Soon-to-be-parents seek a nurturing, short-term, overnight nanny for their newborn! This precious family is about to have their lives changed once their baby arrives, and we are hoping for an experienced, loving fit to help ease into this transition. The nanny will come alongside to nuzzle those sweet baby cheeks, bottle feed, cuddles, and help to establish a routine. Who doesn’t love those first firsts?! The new baby will be the top priority for the nanny, allowing her to truly soak in gentle coos, toothless smiles, and sleepy sighs. This darling mom would love and appreciate an experienced, interactive overnight nanny to come alongside her during those long evening hours so she could catch up on some much-needed sleep. They would appreciate help with baby laundry, washing bottles, and keeping the house picked up if time allows. They desire a nanny who can offer strategies and tips and provides the space and patience Mom and Dad need to chart their path in parenthood.

You’re the baby whisperer, with arms always ready to hold, cuddle, rock to sleep, feed on time, and help grow with schedules and milestones. If you had a specialty field, babies would be it! You are responsive to your littlest charge with timeliness and consistency. You exude a sense of calm and maintain professionalism as you are entrusted with keeping the family home peaceful throughout the wee hours. You love cuddling with the tiniest of babies and are on board with establishing a rhythm that gives baby comfort and assurance.
Requirements and Benefits
Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record
Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
