Job Summary

• Start Date: 11/2/22, but open to waiting for the perfect fit

• *This position is to be six months in length with the option to renew for another six months for the right fit.*

• Hours Guaranteed 35

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

• Thursday: 7:30 am - 1:30 pm

• Friday: 7:30 am -4:30 pm

• Hourly Rate: $26-30/hour | 2 Children: 2-year-old and 3-month-old | No Pets

• Paid Vacation: 1 week paid of the family's choice, 1 week paid of the nanny's choice, 3 sick or personal days, all major holidays

• Covid Shot & Flu Shot Required

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Dual physicians are seeking a reliable and loving nanny to join their family for almost full-time hours (with some flexibility) and loads of fun! Darling big brother and his laid-back and kind parents just welcomed a new baby right into their family. Mom plans to return to work in November. This family thrives on a gentle rhythm and schedule to their day; the nanny is encouraged to explore the outdoors by going on walks to their neighborhood parks or enjoying the backyard. In the future, once trust is built, the nanny can head out on excursions to places like the museum, zoo, or library! As mom and dad maintain busy schedules, they ask that their nanny contributes to their home by helping out with all things kid-related: their laundry, meal prep, toy organization, keeping the main living spaces tidy and organized, kitchen cleanup, and general order. These precious siblings look forward to an engaging nanny who practices gentle redirection and guidance, attentive care, and creative ways to meld play with learning. They limit screen time, looking to tactile play, reading, dance, and music to fill cozy days at home. This family promises to make excellent employers– they love their nanny and welcome her/him as part of their lives for the long haul.

The Ideal Nanny Would Be...Experienced, proactive, and creative, you have excellent knowledge of both infant and toddler milestones and can readily balance a full day at home with routine and joy. You look for ways to actively encourage new growth– whether it’s a new food, a new book, or a new craft, and seek to know and understand the ever-changing emotions and feelings of a toddler. You are warm and stable, energetic and positive. You are not simply looking for another “gig”-- you are hoping to join a family for the next year or so, becoming a valued and loved part of their home as you pour into their children. You’ll communicate clearly and effectively with these wonderful, down-to-earth parents, teaming up with them to help raise their children to be the best they can possibly be!

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
