Position Summary:
The incumbent in this position is responsible to maintain on-site safety of all afterschool students, staff and volunteers among other data support duties assigned by supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that school reception area is supervised, clean and organized at all times.
- Meet, screen and greet all parents, staff, and guests coming to the school side.
- Ensure all students have left the school before leaving program site.
- Distribute and document STS vouchers as indicated by supervisor.
- Assist authorized guests with directions inside the school building.
- Supervise students’ bathroom key and keep an accurate bathroom key log.
- Answer the phone, screen callers and correctly transfer calls and/or take and give messages.
- Assist staff laminating and preparing (cutting and pasting) materials for the classrooms.
- Collect student attendance daily and enter into data tracking
- Enter monthly attendance and student data for High School After School Program. Run reports as indicated by supervisor.
- Enter student outcomes in data tracking system as needed.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Educational & Experiential Requirements:
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish & English)
- High School Diploma
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Strong data entry/typing skills
- Strong administrative and clerical experience within the healthcare field
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate well with diverse populations
- Costumer service oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently and/or part of a team
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel)
Other:
- Ensure the safety of all staff, volunteers, visitors and individuals receiving services at Easter Seals.
- Act in compliance with Medical and Non-Medical Emergency Procedures.
- Assist individuals in evacuating building during emergency situations to include but not limited to: fire drills and external disaster drills. Specific duties to be assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Assume assigned responsibility for non-clinical duties during disaster and/or drills including but not limited to safety of files/office areas, closure of doors.
- Work a flexible schedule as required.
- Other related duties as necessary may be assigned to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of agency.
- Successful completion of background process which includes: Local background check, Level 2 clearance (FBI, FDLE), clear TB test, medical clearance, drug test and reference checks.
- Adhere to the use of Universal Health & Safety Precautions as applicable
