Bartender

Bartenders possess the expertise to craft a wide range of beverages, ensuring that customers have a satisfying and enjoyable experience. Their knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and flavor profiles allows them to create personalized and well-balanced drinks tailored to individual preferences. In addition to mixing drinks, bartenders also play an important role in providing excellent customer service. They engage with customers, take drink orders, suggest beverage options, and create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Bartenders must have good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers of diverse backgrounds and handle various situations that may arise during their shift. They are also responsible for managing the bar area, ensuring cleanliness, organizing supplies, and handling cash transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members.
• Greets guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of all menu items and can answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation.
• Accurately takes guest food and drink orders.
• Ensures food is properly garnished and delivers trays to the designated bar areas, as well as other sections in the bar, as needed
• Busses and resets tables as needed.
• Ensures ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre-bussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for serving alcohol, checking IDs and enforcing these protocols
• Monitor patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
• Identify belligerent customers and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment by de-escalating highly emotional situations
• Keeps immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters of significance
• Follows all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Enters orders into POS quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges.
• Responsible for all sales on POS 
• Maintains responsibility for personal bank and ensures the accuracy of all financial transactions
• Completes station side work at the beginning and end of their shift.
• Completes opening/closing duties in a timely manner.
• Assist in party set up and breakdown.
• Assist other Team members as needed or as business levels dictate.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
• Adhere to dress code requirements presenting a neat, clean, professional appearance always.
• Adhere to the company's sanitation procedures.
• Keeps the station clean, sets up, and takes down the station appropriately.
