Working under the SSG Fox Project Manager , you'll address barriers to broadband connection, improve digital literacy skills, and assist with access to technology. Your responsibilities will include conducting one-on-one consultations, delivering digital skills training, and connecting SMVFs to critical online support services like Telehealth. You'll lead digital literacy public awareness campaigns and work closely with community partners to ensure SMVFs receive comprehensive wrap-around services and support.

What will you do? As a Digital Navigator, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive one-on-one and group consultations to assess SMVFs' digital needs, identifying barriers such as lack of devices, affordable internet access, or digital skills. Develop personalized solutions to address these digital equity gaps.
- Design and deliver targeted digital literacy trainings to enhance SMVFs' ability to use various devices effectively. Prepare engaging course content focused on employment readiness, telehealth access, VA platforms and apps, and other essential digital skills.
- Provide hands-on technical support, helping SMVFs set up digital devices, connect to Wi-Fi, configure settings, and install necessary applications. Guide them in using software applications, digital communication tools, and social media platforms.
- Lead public awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of digital literacy for SMVFs, collaborating with Easterseals Marketing & Promotion to raise visibility through strategic outreach and social media engagement.
- Travel within the region (25-45%) to provide outreach, training, and support directly to SMVFs and community partners. Attend local veteran events and activities to foster connections and increase program visibility.
- Support clients in connecting to critical online services such as telehealth, employment platforms, and digital health literacy resources. Initiate referrals for disconnected SMVFs to ensure they access wrap-around services.
- Track and report on SMVFs' progress, challenges, and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in program delivery. Collaborate with leadership to align training outcomes with program goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to advance the mission of Veterans Rally Point and digital equity initiatives.
Skills and Requirements:
- Prior military service preferred
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in customer support, digital literacy, technical support, or community outreach required
- Strong knowledge of digital devices, internet navigation, and software applications, especially those related to VA care connection
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
- Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to help others
- Highly motivated and dedicated to working with Active Military, National Guard, Reserves, Veterans, and Families
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple client cases, and resolve minor conflicts
- Initiative taking and detail oriented
