Job Description:
Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference in someone’s life? We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Homemaker in the East Hampstead/Atkinson Area.to provide essential support and assistance to individuals who need care. In this position, you’ll play an important role in creating a safe, comfortable environment while helping with a variety of household tasks and daily activities.
As a Homemaker, you’ll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes, including:
- Assisting with core household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, ensuring a safe home environment, grocery shopping, running errands, and offering reminders or simple assistance with daily activities.
- Following the care plan outlined by the supervisor, including duties like light housekeeping and grocery shopping.
- Encouraging and supporting the consumer’s journey toward self-reliance.
- Communicating regularly with your supervisor and attending required meetings.
- Maintaining professionalism and respecting the confidentiality of both the consumer and their family at all times.
- Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Minimum eighteen (18) years of age
- Able to work independently to meet the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of adults
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation: $18 hourly
Hours: Part Time; Flexible Hours.
