The Children Services Program Manager provides support to the Director of Children Services and assists other Program Manager(s) when directed, to manage, monitor, and document the essential functions of program development, personnel management, innovation, and regulatory compliance. This position may require traveling to other Children Services locations and may serve in a dual role of Program Manager in other locations. The Children Services Program Manager is specifically focused on providing services that support children to achieve outcomes in social/emotional, cognitive/language and fine and gross motor development.
- Assist the Director of Children Services in developing and implementing program policies and procedures
- Manage and monitor program budgets and expenditures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Supervise and manage program staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement program evaluation and quality improvement plans
- Collaborate with other program managers and staff to ensure effective program delivery
- Provide direct services to children and families as needed
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
What Easterseals Redwood needs from our Children Services Program Manager
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a children's services setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education
- Experience with program evaluation and quality improvement
- Ability to travel to other Children Services locations as needed
