Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Lead Customer Order Designer (COD). This position will be ONSITE M-F at our Fayetteville NC Eaton facility. Relocation within the USA Country is also being provided, if needed.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $56250.0 - $82500.0 a year.

What you'll do:

The primary function of the Custom Order Designer is to provide mechanical design and documentation support for the Low Voltage Motor Control Center Aftermarket product line.

This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Engineering designs
  • Collaborating with application engineers and manufacturing associates
  • Utilization of design automation software
  • Producing/maintaining manufacturing documentation.

Additionally, this position will have a heavy focus on interaction with the manufacturing and design teams, specifically the harness, unit and/or structure designs.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:
  • Technical Associates Degree OR High-school Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of manufacturing design experience
  • Must be willing to relocate to Fayetteville, NC. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering technology or related field.
  • Knowledge of Motor Control Centers and/or Package Control Assemblies through experience and/or education.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering and design software programs.

Skills:
  • Able to read schematic diagrams and experience with complex Bill of Materials.
  • Understanding and application of drafting standards and techniques
  • Able to visualize components, features and assemblies in three-dimensional space
  • Able to use required engineering software tools and other common computer software (word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, etc.)
