Counter Sales

Job Summary
Echo Electric Supply is looking for a Counter Sales person. Duties include inside sales of electrical supplies, computerized order entry, filling orders, stocking shelves, and inventory management. An electrical background is preferred but not required. The qualified applicant needs to be accurate, coachable, and have the ability to work as a team member. Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs
• Must be able to pull tickets and handle stock
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Drug Test required
• Must be able to work in a team environment

Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations
- Manage inventory control to ensure stock availability
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
- Utilize sales techniques to promote products and maximize revenue
- Familiarity with the automotive service industry to assist customers with vehicle maintenance and repair inquiries
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for efficient order processing

Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Proficiency in inventory control procedures
- Experience with cash register operations
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions
- Sales skills to promote products and increase sales revenue
- Understanding of the automotive service industry for customer assistance related to vehicle maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for streamlined order processing

Qualifications
- Strong background in inventory management and control
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Experience in automotive service and maintenance
- Ability to work with CMMS software
- Valid driver's license for occasional travel requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.84 - $20.82 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
