ECHO Incorporated is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Tech III - Master Electrician. The Industrial Maintenance Tech III – Master Electrician is required to have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn and teach where applicable, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), physical ability to perform all maintenance related tasks, take ownership of personal work performance, and be self-motivated to provide acceptable results daily. This is a position that requires a strong mix of hands-on knowledge and skills, as well as handling clerical responsibilities such as maintaining and ordering electrical supplies for the entire facility. Must be able to multi-task, take pride in your work, and provide exceptional results as far as quality, timing, teamwork, and safety are concerned. Continuous improvement needs to always be a top priority, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
1st Shift 6:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday. $40 - $50/HR depending on experience yearly bonus!

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Specify equipment needs and order components for all electrical equipment installations.
- Installation of new electrical equipment and circuitry ranging from 110v, single phase to 480v, 3 phase.
- Rework, troubleshooting and repair of all electrical related maintenance issues and projects that arise throughout the facility.
- Perform annual heat load inspections on all switchgears and electrical panels throughout ECHO’s campus.
- Perform planned and emergency repairs on Assembly/Manufacturing equipment throughout ECHO with urgency, efficiency, and high work quality.
- Weekly fire suppression system inspections, testing, and documentation.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance as assigned by supervision. Document maintenance performed in provided Maintenance/Repair Software.
- Accept maintenance related projects with a proactive approach. Prioritize workload to be able to multi-task between longer term projects, quick repairs, emergency repairs, etc.
- Assist in the organizational control of spare parts, supplies, and hardware inventories. Report any supply needs to the supervisor. Maintain all supplies in a well-organized storage area based on 5-S standards.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties in Maintenance areas to the established 5-S and OSHA standards. Keep your work area clean.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician, primarily in an industrial/manufacturing setting. Previous experience under the Master Electrician job title or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with installation and repair of solar systems is preferred. ECHO has a 2.8Mw solar system on our campus, consisting of 9,800 solar panels.
- Experience with large HVAC systems is a plus. General repair, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of facility grounds equipment such as overhead lighting circuits, flat-top roofing, dock doors/plates, fire prevention systems/circuits, security systems to allow assistance with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance support, etc.
- Entry-level (or higher) machining experience. Knee-mill, lathe, band saw, pipe bender, etc.
- Experience with installing conduits, pulling wire, installing circuit breaker panels, etc. for single and 3-phase circuits up to 480v.
- Knowledge of how to repair/replace high voltage overhead lighting.
- Low voltage panel and equipment circuitry experience is required. The ability to troubleshoot, identify failed components, and replace them in order to get equipment back up and running.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and be able to team-lift items that way up to 150 lbs. intermittently.
- Strong and consistent verbal and written communication effort and ability in English is required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
