1st Shift 6:30am - 3:00pm $33 /HR depending on experience yearly bonus!
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling all maintenance tasks related to injection molding facilities from start to finish, requiring minimal supervision. This encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to electrical and hydraulic repairs on injection molding machines (IMMs), adding custom inputs/outputs for specialized applications, assembling custom hydraulic hoses, fabricating, and welding custom racks, tables, and workstations, inspecting and exchanging screws and barrels from IMMs, performing basic 24V circuit panel assembly, and managing cooling and other related fixtures.

- Ensure optimal molding utilization (machine uptime) in the department, requiring a comprehensive understanding of all Injection Molding Machines (IMM) and ancillary equipment.
- Responsible for technical preventive maintenance (PM) and work orders, completing tasks with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner.
- Carry out necessary repairs promptly and efficiently, following up with corrective actions as needed.
- Execute tasks assigned by departmental supervision and take ownership of projects.
- Address any potential issues or concerns raised from all three shifts in the molding and CNC departments, no matter how minor.
- Assist in managing the organization of spare parts, supplies, and hardware inventories.
- Report supply needs to the molding maintenance supervisor and maintain an organized storage area according to 5-S standards.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties in maintenance areas, adhering to established 5-S and OSHA standards to keep the work environment clean.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in repair and maintenance of IMMs and related equipment is required.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, electronics (24V panels, robotic hardware, etc.), hydraulic circuits, and pneumatics is essential. Ability to read technical drawings in these areas is necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Commitment to driving continuous improvement within the department.
- Preferred additional skills include minor HVAC, welding and fabrication, pipefitting, minor machining, and experience with wiring for single and three-phase equipment up to 480V.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet for most of the day.
- Forklift and scissor lift experience is required, with the ability to lift over 50 pounds intermittently.
