Job Description: Federal Project Manager
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is recruiting for Project Manager to oversee and manage programs for Counter Improvised Explosive Device capabilities. The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:
- Manage day to day operations based on client requirements
- Oversee and manage counter-improved explosive device programs, trainings, and outreach
- Conduct technical studies, analyses, and evaluations that support DHS needs
- Manage a team of about 10 and ensure quality performance
- Assist in developing and communication new and existing processes, procedures, and work products in support of DHS
- Assist in strategy development
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Accredited College or University)
- Experience with Infrastructure Protection/ Infrastructure Security
- Experience working with Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Programs
- Experience leading teams of 10
- Experience working with administrative teams
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must pass a background check.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
- Graduate-level Degree (M.A., M.S., or above)
- PMP Certificate
Primary work location: D.C. Metropolitan Area. Remote work option available.
Travel Expectations: Moderate travel may be required to complete the scope of work-related responsibilities.
