Ecoserv is seeking a reliable and organized Delivery Driver/Parts Runner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of equipment and supplies, ensuring timely deliveries to vendor locations while maintaining exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to various tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Safely Operate Company Vehicle: Drive a company vehicle to transport handheld tools and materials to designated locations, ensuring safe delivery and return.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies with care, ensuring proper handling, securing, and storage to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of all items delivered and received, including delivery notes, invoices, and logbooks.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Fleet Assistance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle, performing routine maintenance such as fueling, tire pressure checks, and cleaning. Assist in maintaining the company fleet.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and vendors, ensuring a positive company image while addressing inquiries and concerns. Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in Shop Operations: Support general shop duties as needed, such as sweeping, cleaning, and assisting with equipment preparation or organization.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, others, and the cargo being transported.
- Overtime and Weekend Availability: Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when required to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Driver's License: Clean driving record, free from major violations (DUI/DWI, reckless driving, etc.), and ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
