Summary:
Provide front counter service to customers. Prepare requested drinks, work with the fellow team members to ensure orders are properly prepared in a timely manner, and efficiently manage the point of sale system.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of all menu options, take orders, and serve the prepared items to the guests
- Accurately follow all cash handling and point of sale system procedures, including but not limited to, cash and comp procedures
- Ensure all food and drinks are served within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including countertops, floors, tables, front of house equipment
- Put items away in a timely manner according to procedure, utilizing proper signage
- Ensure adequate supplies are available for the shift, including ribbons, comp paper, cash drop envelopes and receipt paper
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- 6 months of previous experience working in high volume, fast-paced food and beverage environment preferred
- Prior experience with POS systems preferred
- Previous experience working in a team or group environment
- Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

- Frequently push and/or pull up to 35 lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels

- Constant use of hearing and vision, standing, and communicate using a paging system
