Job Summary:
EDU-AIDs LLC is looking for an in-person Intervention Specialist to take care of the caseload - Someone who is able to provide SDI and to write the IEPs when they come due.
Role: Full-time On site providing SDI and doing the writing OR.
This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for teaching, a strong understanding of academic advising, and a commitment to supporting the growth and development of children.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative and effective intervention programs for students in need of additional support.
- Utilize learning technology and learning management systems (LMS) to create interactive and engaging learning experiences.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff members to develop personalized curricula and instructional plans.
- Provide academic advising and support to students to ensure they are on track to meet their educational goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of childhood development and its implications for teaching and learning.
- Teach in a classroom setting and engage with students in a way that promotes active learning and communication.
- Design and deliver high-quality instructional materials and assessments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and staff members to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Continuously evaluate and refine intervention strategies and instructional designs to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Ohio Intervention License (K-12)
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use learning technology and learning management systems (LMS).
- Familiarity with academic advising and childhood development principles.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting the growth and development of children.
- Ability to work effectively in a classroom setting and manage a variety of responsibilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast with best practices in education.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.72 - $31.29 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
