Job Overview:
Edu-Aids LLC is urgently seeking a Spanish Teacher to join our sites in Philadelphia, PA. The required candidate should have experience working in a school setting and should be comfortable handling student one on one. Candidate should have min 2 years of teaching experience along with a valid PA Teaching License or should be able to apply for an emergency license in case of no valid license/certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for Spanish language education.
- Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide individualized support as needed.
- Utilize effective communication and organizational skills to maintain student records and facilitate parent-teacher interactions.
- Mentor students in literacy and language skills, encouraging their academic growth and confidence in using the Spanish language.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with a focus on Spanish language instruction
- Proven classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with curriculum development and standardized testing
- Ability to utilize learning technology and instructional design principles
