ETS's Praxis division, dedicated to empowering aspiring teachers, is looking for a data-driven Product Manager Lead to support the evolution of Praxis beyond teacher licensure to a broader set of supports. As a Product Manager Lead, you'll shape the vision, translating it into an actionable roadmap and product strategy. Your role will directly impact our mission of placing more qualified educators in classrooms nationwide.
The Product Manger Lead's primary responsibilities include:
- Own the Product Vision for key elements of the product and customer experience, defining and championing a compelling vision for the product, aligning it with Praxis's mission and market needs.
- Be the primary driver for identifying opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
- Integrate data, usability studies, research, and market analysis into product strategies and requirements to enhance user satisfaction and improve engineer productivity.
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams (development, marketing, sales, etc.) to drive product success.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics. Drive decision-making through user insights, quantitative analysis and AB testing.
- Adhere to ethical standards and comply with laws/regulations applicable to the job function
We expect this person to be:
- A strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture vision with tactical execution.
- An exceptional communicator, able to articulate ideas and strategies clearly to stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Comfortable with E-commerce best practices and optimization strategies. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud a plus.
- Experienced in working in Agile environments, writing user stories/product briefs, and collaborating with development teams.
- 5 years of product management experience, preferably in a high-growth environment with a focus on e-commerce.
- Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, A/B Testing Platforms)
- Experience in the education technology sector and familiarity with K-12 teacher certification processes a major plus.
