Position Overview:

The Support Engineer is an entry-level role tailored for professionals with less than three years of experience. At EEI, we provide a unique opportunity to:

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities, including commissioning and training meetings.
• Review design documents, submittals, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in site visits to assess system functionality, energy efficiency, and system performance.
• Conduct engineering research, data analysis, calculations, and cost estimation.
• Develop design criteria, checklists, and test procedures.
• Troubleshoot systems, analyze problems, and support solution development.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet client goals and deliver results.
• Organize project documentation and communicate findings effectively.

What You Bring to the Team:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience (recent graduate's welcome!).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desired (but not required):

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Familiarity with technical certifications such as LEED AP (USGBC), AABC, NEBB, TABB, or BCxA.
