Great Lakes Carpet & Tile is hiring full-time experienced warehouse associates at our Wildwood location. We offer competitive pay and benefits within our family owned, team centered environment.
This is an in-person, full time position.Job Duties:
This is an in-person, full time position.
- Receive, identify, and move materials from receiving area to storage or to other designated areas.
- Read and Fill requisition pick tickets, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to installers.
- Log material returns using a computer or log sheet.
- Drive forklift safely to transport items inside the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials using a forklift for subcontractors and delivery trucks.
- Drive a company owned vehicle to make deliveries within a 50-mile radius following all traffic laws and company safety practices.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment along with co0workers.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Possess a valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand on your feet for long periods of time moving material from one location to another.
- Ability to communicate clearly with co-workers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
