As an Electrical Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our electrical service department. You will lead a team of skilled electricians and support staff to ensure the highest standards of service delivery, customer satisfaction, and safety compliance. Your role will involve managing projects, coordinating schedules, Work Order bids, and fostering a collaborative work environment, as well as performing work as needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the electrical service team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and billing, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed parameters.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance and project outcomes to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrician as well as Service Manager or in a similar position within the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for scheduling, project management, and reporting.
- Valid South Dakota journeyman electrical license.
