- This role is expected to apply project management best practices to in the development, initiation, planning, execution, maintenance, and closing of projects for the Medical Information and Technology
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide detailed meeting management and facilitation support to ensure projects and plans move forward.
Participates in the development of and tracks high-quality medical projects including CRM and Power BI dashboard revisions.
Communicates project status through preparation of monthly dashboards and other reporting materials. Includes collecting information and ensuring accuracy of reports.
Regularly meets with stakeholders for project updates.
Assists with risk mitigation planning, highlighting risks, timeline delays and other issues.
Monitors project budget/spending.
Typically supports a wide range of advanced projects and provides advice/guidance to less experienced colleagues on project support tactics.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of digital project execution with some understanding of other medical affairs functions relevant to the position.
Strong interpersonal skills with experience supporting cross-functional teams in matrix environment; skilled at exchanging complex/sensitive information and influencing others to take action.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
Excellent ability to solve problems by applying technical experience and guided by precedents; works somewhat independently, escalating issues or engaging senior staff as needed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Typically requires 4 years of experience working in a project management role in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
