Job Summary
The Special Education Aide plays a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs in a classroom setting. Duties
- Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Support students in their daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and social interactions.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement within the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual student needs and achievements.
- Facilitate literacy education by assisting students with reading and writing tasks, ensuring comprehension and skill development.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop strategies that enhance student learning experiences.
Skills
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly beneficial.

- Experience working with students in a private school or special education setting is preferred.
