Database Administrator

Eagle Integrated Services is seeking a Database Administrator to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland.  Responsibilities Include: Design, implement, and manage database architectures Perform database installations, upgrades, and configuration Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies Monitor database performance and optimize query execution Implement security measures and access controls Manage database storage, capacity planning, and resource allocation Troubleshoot complex database issues Create and maintain database documentation Run queries and pull data from databases to be used in conjunction with other programs or applications. Monitor and assist with cleanup discrepancies or errors in databases Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Oracle certification (OCP) preferred 5 years of DBA experience Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale enterprise database systems\ Expert-level Oracle database knowledge Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and replication technologies Strong understanding of database architecture and performance tuning Knowledge of Linux/Unix server environments Scripting skills (Shell, Python) Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) offers a competitive benefits package to include: paid holidays, paid time off including sick and vacation leave, medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, short and long term disability, company paid life insurance, 401(k) with a company match and discretionary profit sharing and tuition reimbursement.  EIS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
