Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) is seeking a Health Physicist specializing in the execution of research pertaining to electromagnetic and biological interactions, particularly for military health. to support the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD).
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of research protocols, amendments and experimental design; conduct research in accordance with all safety, surety, security standards, IACUC policies and governing SOPs; communicate dynamic protocol requirements to team members, collaborators, and support personnel; record and maintain integrity of all digital and physical laboratory data following good documentation practices; assist with compilation and analysis of data for use in reports, presentations and manuscripts.
Draft reports, figures, and slide summaries of experimental methods and results, as needed.
Draft technical reports, manuscripts, proposals, and other written work, as needed.
Assist in implementing and conducting experimental investigations of acute non-kinetic injuries in collaboration with the PI.
Expertise in electromagnetic and biological interactions, particularly for clinical outcomes. Knowledge and ability to determine mechanisms of injury for electromagnetic and electromechanical insults. Experience in evaluating modeling and simulation efforts for electromagnetic injuries.
Performs literature searches as required to provide necessary background information and utilizes reference management software.
Design and conduct electromagnetic, biochemical, pharmacological, physiological, and behavioral components of experimental investigations in collaboration with the PI.
Co-author research findings in concert with the PI and publish in peer-reviewed journals and technical reports and present findings at scientific conferences.
Education/Experience:
Master of Science Degree from an accredited university/college in an engineering or similar field
Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements:
Knowledge of electromagnetic and biological interactions
Experience conducting laboratory experiments
Experience maintaining data sets and complying with applicable regulatory entities
Experience conducting literature searches and compiling results
Ability to use statistical software for analyses and generating figures for diverse (and sometimes non-technical) audiences
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent adaptability to new research team/project assignment per organizational needs
Comfortable working around animals (multiple species) and ongoing biomedical research
Background/Security:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Interim SECRET Security Clearance is required
