Sr. Application Developer

Eagle Integrated Services is seeking a Senior Application Developer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland.  Responsibilities Include: Manages a small team of application programmers to ensure projects and daily tasks are completed in a timely manner. Oversee daily project operations and manages task delegation, execution, and control. Responsible for task schedules, project estimates and change management processes on tasks. Provides guidance to the development team and works with the Project Manager to develop customized continual improvement plans and standard operating procedures focused on the customer’s mission. Accurately records daily tasks and assignments to provide metrics on task orders. Knowledge and Skills Required: Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines. Skill in using analytical and research skills in performance of job duties. Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Self motivated to learn, troubleshoot, and complete projects. The candidate must be capable of working hands-on with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery, jQuery plug-ins, and various other 3rd party JavaScript libraries), and SQL. Must be capable of writing client and web based applications using Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, C#, Oracle, SQL Server, and Microsoft Access. Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012, Team Foundation Server, TOAD, and SQL Server Management Studio.
