Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud providers.
- Configuration of VPN, firewalls, setting up ongoing mgmt in Azure
- Configure and maintain network systems, including virtual networks, VPNs, subnets, load balancers, and firewalls in cloud environments.
- Ensure network security by implementing appropriate controls and monitoring traffic for anomalies or vulnerabilities.
- Optimize cloud network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
- Manage network integrations between on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with DevOps, software engineers, and security teams to create a cohesive cloud infrastructure.
- Automate network configuration and management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and analyze network performance metrics and recommend optimization techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud network technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years focused on cloud-based networks.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with cloud networking services, including VPC, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Cloud DNS, CDN, and VPN.
- Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and tools such as firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust models.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with network monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, or Zabbix.
- Knowledge of container networking (Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Networking Engineer Associate).
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud networking.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and network automation practices.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
