Gardens & Grounds Coordinator Position at ECRA
.5 FTE
The El Camino Real School Garden Coordinator works with school staff and the ECRA Garden Team to develop and implement school garden programming. The coordinator will collaborate with teachers to develop in-class, grade-level adjusted garden lessons that connect to identified Project Areas. The garden coordinator will help recruit and inform volunteers and community partners who can co-facilitate these projects based on specific experience as well as document outcomes and impacts through evaluation and tracking. It also includes the grounds projects including: outdoor learning centers, makerspaces, outdoor art projects, grounds planning, coordination with contractors, vendors, donations, grants etc.
Education requirement: minimum high school diploma, must be at least 21 years old
Teaching License or Substitute License required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
