El Milagro of Texas is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Safety Coordinator to oversee and implement our safety programs. The ideal candidate will be a bilingual individual with a passion for safety and a strong commitment to preventing workplace injuries and illnesses.
Responsibilities:
· Safety Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs aligned with OSHA standards and company policies.
· OSHA Compliance: Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, including recordkeeping, training, and inspections.
· Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
· Accident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
· Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels, including new hire orientation, annual refresher training, and specialized training as needed.
· Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and coordinate with local emergency services.
· Collaboration: Work closely with management, supervisors, and employees to promote a strong safety culture and encourage employee participation in safety initiatives.
· Reporting: Prepare and submit required safety reports, including incident reports, injury and illness logs, and other regulatory documents.
Qualifications:
· OSHA 30-Hour Certification: Required
· Bilingual (English/Spanish): Required
· Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.
· Manufacturing Experience: Preferred
· Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
· People Person: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with employees at all levels.
· Energetic: Enthusiastic and motivated to drive safety improvements.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
