Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and clothing.
- Prepare light meals or snacks as needed while adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as kitchen cleaning, bathroom sanitation, and bedroom organization.
- Carry out custodial duties in commercial settings including office cleaning and restroom maintenance.
- Perform carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to maintain appearance and hygiene.
- Assist in housekeeping management by reporting inventory needs for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and products is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning practices is beneficial.
