Position: Edibles Technician

Job: Our Edibles Technician is responsible for performing efficient set up / tear down, manufacturing and cleaning of all equipment and processes associated with edibles manufacturing operations with general supervision or partnership with other edibles technicians. The Edible Technician is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures with an emphasis on regulatory processes such as SOP’s and safety to meet the needs of the organization

Shift: 4 day work weeks.6am - 4:30pm Monday- Thursday

Pay: 17.00 hourly Paid Bi-Weekly

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Carry out duties involving boiling, pouring, filling, de-molding, sugaring and packaging edibles.

-Assist the Edibles Lead with preparation of materials for the day as well as helping to tear down, turn around, and set back up all edibles equipment as needed

-Assist with other departments as time allows

-Maintain a clean kitchen and packaging room, including infrastructure and equipment which includes washing, drying, and replacing molds daily.

-Follow all food safety procedures, kitchen SOPs, and general safety requirements.

-Other duties as assigned by management This is a full-time, Permanent position Elevate Cannabis.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

-HS Diploma required

-Must be organized and maintain a neat and clean work station

-Must have familiarity with grams vs ounces

-Must be able to perform simple math

-Prior Edibles or Kitchen experience is preferred.

-Must be aware of and abide by all laws and compliance surrounding edible operations

-Able to work long hours in a fast-paced environment

-ServSafe Food Handler Certification - Will acquire when hired.

-Adjust work schedule as needed to meet deadlines and accomplish all objectives

-Handling of raw materials for product assembly

-Manipulation of pails to and from storage requirements

-Pail weight <1kg. (Empty) to 30kg (Max. full weight: 66 lbs) multiple times per shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
