Your Role:
This fitness center is in a Downtown Executive Club, paid parking, full benefits, great equipment and a super team to work with. Looking for someone with a passion for fitness and wellness or a PT certification a PLUS.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet each member and guest as they enter the gym
Enroll new members and handle guest sign-ups by assigning all necessary paperwork and collecting payment information
Answer inquiries about the gym via in person, email or phone
- Responsible for tracking sign-ups for group exercise classes
- Offer center tours and free trials to potential members
Cleans locker room when necessary
Restock items in the locker room, such as but not limited to: vanity supplies, towels, paper goods, soap, etc.
Assist members with lockers (day lockers as well as rental lockers)
- Responsible for laundry, washing, drying, folding and replacing in rental lockers within a 24 hour turnaround time
- Assist with center marketing and other day to day operations of the gym
- Floor supervision and equipment cleaning
- Enforcement of rules and regulations
- Assist members with accessing Virtual Workouts (Elevation Live and Elevation Station)
- Collaborate with staff on ideas for Incentive Programming and Health Promotion
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Awareness of emergency protocols and implementing when necessary
What we are looking for:
- Certifications:
- CPR and AED required
- Personal training certificate preferred
- Experience:
- Experience in health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
- Experience in customer service preferred
Skills: Excellent communication skills
