WHAT YOU'LL DO:  

The Health Center Clinic Manager is an integral member of the Health Center team and oversees the day-to-day operational activities of the clinic in a manner that promotes high employee morale, top-quality patient care, and a professional clinic atmosphere. The Health Center Clinic Manager provides leadership to clinic employees, coordinates work in order to achieve department/clinic goals and continually works on performance improvement activities within the clinic by emphasizing accuracy, productivity and completion of work within established time frames.

Compensation Dependent Upon Experience: $78,000 - $100,000

Requirements

  •  Knowledge of clinic operations with at least three years of Health Center Clinic management experience
  • Experience working in a community health
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or certification in Clinic Office Management preferred (Experience may substitute for education)

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a current and valid California driver’s license

Physical Requirements

The work environment is characteristic of the healthcare facility environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud; the incumbent must be able to focus in an environment with many distractions.
