Bus Driver and Kitchen Assistant Position Description

Introduction :

The potential candidate for this position has a passion for using their driving and

serving skills to serve the students of EHA.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Elijah House Academy (EHA) is accepting applications for our School Bus Driver

combined with Kitchen Assistant position. Applicants with Class C CDL, with P

passenger) and S (school bus) endorsements with a minimum of three years'

driving experience are preferred. Responsibilities include driving students along

daily shuttle routes and day and / or field trips. Maintaining assigned bus in a safe,

clean, professional manner is a must. Employment is subject to successful

background check and a clean driving record.

• Candidate must be in agreement with the EHA statement of faith, philosophy

of education, and its core values

Core responsibilities of the Bus Driver include :

Assisting in kitchen

stored appropriately

kitchen surfaces if needed

Hours :

For driving the bus the candidate will need to work approximately

from 6 : 15 am-8 : 00 am and 2 : 30-4 : 45 pm during the regular work week, Monday to

Friday. To assist in the kitchen, Monday to Friday, the hours will approximately be

from 10 : 30am to 12 : 30pm as needed. Work week determined by the EHA school

calendar.
