Responsibilities of a Director of Nursing (DON):

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage and mentor nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Monitor resident care plans and ensure they are updated regularly.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure quality of care standards are maintained.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to resident care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications of a Director of Nursing (DON):

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Responsible, ready, and eager to work
