ERCC is a 111-bed, non-profit, short- and long-term nursing care and rehabilitation facility located in Elkins, WV. ERCC delivers a full-range of skilled and intermediate nursing care services to those who are recovering from injury or illness and those who may need assistance transitioning to the later stages in life. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
ERCC is seeking a Dietary Aide to set up kitchen areas and assist in preparing, serving, and clean up of meals; cleans and prepares cookware, flatware, and dishes for use in a Restaurant-Style Dining setting. Also fills in as Dietary Cook when needed. The position is full-time, primary shift 12:30p - 8:30p, including weekends and holidays. In addition, substitute for regular cook.
Duties include:
Restaurant-Style Dining with teamwork that includes the following:
· Prepares and serves food per planned menus, following standardized recipes and guidelines, using standard portion sizes.
· Prepares food according to prescribed sanitation standards.
· Prepares food for modified and therapeutic diets.
· Responsible for serving meals at scheduled times, planning and organizing food preparation appropriately.
· Performs clean-up duties as needed for each meal service.
· Uses equipment and materials in a safe manner following correct operation and cleaning procedures
· Follows cleaning schedules and sanitation checklists.
· Perform Dietary Aide duties when not working as Dietary Cook.
· Perform other related dietary duties as assigned.
