Shop Diesel/Automotive Mechanic (based in Harwood, ND)

Job Description

Salary: $23-28.50/hour DOE

Ellingson is hiring an experienced Mechanic to join their growing shop team in Harwood, ND. Ellingson is a specialty construction company with cutting edge technology and are committed to innovation. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of specialty equipment, to trucks and trailers. We are willing to train qualified candidates. • This position is based out of our shop in HARWOOD, ND.

The Mechanic will be responsible for the following:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects.
• Maintain proper record keeping and request work orders for all repairs.
  
  

Requirements:

• Basic set of hand tools (all specialty tools provided by the company)
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Prefer 4-6 years of mechanical experience, heavy equipment experience preferred
• Valid drivers license with good driving history
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Welding skills required, fab skills are preferred
